When I looked at the crowd count that was supposed to be a lower crowd time. I tried to book rooms and almost every one is sold out for that week.

they may have not released reservations yet. I know many hotels I've been trying to price rooms for January & February (not near the holiday/marathon weekends) have shown no availability.

I agree with egritz that it's more likely the hotels haven't yet figured out their pricing and haven't released the reservations yet. I haven't heard of much happening the first week in March yet (the second weekend is the Natural Products Expo).

Which hotels? Disney hotels or off site hotels? I do know that the first weekend in March is normally the cheerleader convention thing, because we always go around February 26th as it's our anniversary. Like others have said, though, it may just be that the reservations aren't released yet for the hotels you are checking.

I am going that week too! The cheerleading convention was moved from Anaheim Convention Center to a different convention center the weekend prior so I think we're going to be ok. :) I have a spreadsheet (I'm a freak) of all of the data I've compiled for that week (from touring plans actual this year vs. predicted, RMH Travel predictions, and isitpacked) as well as the shows, etc if you want me to email you. :)

PS - I'm staying at the brand new Homewood Suites that opens in December. Prices are roughly $130-150/night depending on what kind of room you need. It includes a kitchen, some include a separate living area, breakfast, etc. I am going to Uber to and from the park if necessary but will try just walking to the Toy story lot which is just northeast of the hotel and using the Disney bus.

The All Stars Championship Cheerleading Convention (March 12-13) moved to the Los Angeles Convention Center and the one that was usually held in DCA (JR Spirit Nationals, Feb 27-28) moved to Knott's Berry Farm. I've got some of the conventions and events for March listed in the 2016 Calendar of Events & School Breaks and DLR thread.

Lizzy off site hotels. Texas gingerbread our plan are not totally firm not even who is going but I may take you up on that offer as we get our plans more solid.

I have reservations at the Red Lion already for the last week of February and have for over a month, but I realize that it's farther than a lot of people want to be from the gates.

We just made plans to go the first week of March too for my daughters 5th birthday. Would you mind sending me your spreadsheet? Thank you!
