What is good @ Kona for dinner

Oooh, I had the teriyaki steak that came with this incredible pineapple glaze topping. The whole thing sat on top of very savory mashed potatos. Delish! It was really yummy and they bring out this warm bread accompanied by macadamia nut butter. That bread/butter was almost a meal in itself! Seriously, everything looked good on the menu and both my husband I were very pleased with our dishes. :goodvibes

I love the macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi, it was sooo good. My sister also liked the teriyaki steak. The sticky wings appetizer is very good. I can't wait to go back.

I had a fabulous shrimp and scallop dish when I was there in January. I forget what it was called, but it was three tempura shrimp and three seared scallops with rice and veggies. Yum! My boyfriend had the tuna oscar and it was really good too.

I had the Teriyaki steak and it was so yummy! One of my favorite meals the entire trip.

What isn't good at Kona is more like it!

I love the Teriyaki Steak! The bread and macadamia nut butter is to die for as someone mentioned. The Shrimp Curry soup (forget the actual name) is SO good. We loved the sushi we had last time. My friends enjoyed the Mahi Mahi, everyone was pleased with their meals!

DH loved the Teriyaki Steak and I loooooved the Pan Asian Noodles. This is one of our new favorite restaurants @ WDW. Oh and the desserts...yummo!!

I'm giving another vote for the Tuna Oscar-- incredibly delicious-- my favorite! We have the shrimp and scallops several times and Terriyaki NY Strip was great. My DD's fave is the Coconut Almond CHicken-- sounded odd, but she gets it each time!

I agree with a PP who said what isn't good??. Our only ADRs for our next trip are at Kona.

I thought they had a decent prime rib, but I was able to taste what my mother and sister ordered. (Too bad I didn't ask to taste their 'sissy drinks'!)

My sister's teriyaki steak was very good, and my mother declared that the pomegranate bbq pork chop was the most tender pork chop she ever had. I had to agree. And the sauce was delish. I think I would have liked it better than the prime rib.

I've had the mahi mahi and it was sooo good. This past Sept my husband loved the teriyaki steak with pineapple, my mom adored the pomegranite pork chop, and I was drooling over my tuna oscar with fried green tomatoes. The biggest hit though, was my sushi appetizer. You have to ask for the sushi menu, buit it is sooo good, I am going back in May just to get the sushi.:cloud9: Their desserts have also always been good, until this past Sept. I got some kind of coconut kiki tart, that I just didn't care for. It was very tiny and just didn't taste as well as what the rest of my party ordered. It's the only time I've ever been disappointed at Konas.

the sticky wings and crabcakes are perfect for a meal for me

teriyaki steak is wonderful, prime rib is dee-lish...and favorite "sissy" drink is the pina colava (pina colada with raspberry swirled through) Awesome bev!

Kona has great desserts too...

Filet Mignon :thumbsup2

Yep, this has been eliminated like many other locations. I haven't been back since it was taken off the menu. (I've tried other dishes here and this was the only one I liked.)
