I agree that MK was packed!!!!!!!! We were there on Monday the 25th and DH and I just looked at each other in utter shock! We are so used to low attendance.
There were wall to wall people in the park. I had never seen that many people outside of Christmas and Easter. If we didn't have PS at CP at 4:10pm, we would have left. I had called Disney Dining to try to rearrange some of our PS's for the week and all the restaurants were packed and NO walk ins were accepted!
We just sat in different areas and people watched. We had some nice conversations with other people sitting around. Strolling around with 2 strollers was out of the question with all the people. I did offer to take lots of family pictures for people!
We saw the 3pm parade, had an early dinner and left. We could tell that the park had seriously thinned out by then, but we had had enough.
It seemed that EVERYONE from the NY-NJ-LI tri-state area was at WDW! We came down with another family, met up with another family, heard of another 2-3 families down at the same time, and ran into my first cousin out of the blue at Innovations at Epcot this past Saturday!! We had no idea we were both going to be at WDW. Her family was also traveling with another family.
Funny thing was that on the drive down, I-95 was empty. It was the lightest traffic we had seen in over 8 drives. So, we were extra shocked to see all the people! DH and I laughed and I said that I guess all the NYers were flying!!!
We have checked out of BWV.

and checked into the Marriott Cypress Harbor (makes me homesick for OKW). Our friends have left for home and we still have 4 full days before we leave! Hopefully the parks will be lighter the next 3 days. If not, we'll be back in October!
