Because it's easier to complain than put your money where your mouth is. Or in this case, put the credit card in the drawer. My future in laws are like this about cruises. They complain all throughout the cruise and then 2 months after they get back, they book another cruise. Only to complain about everything once again.
FP not assigned to real people? How do you determine who is real?

I fully realize that. I honestly wondered how they determined who was a real person and who wasn't, in the case of the person who's MDE account was locked. Not sure I'm allowed to use the proper terms here that would explain better. But they deleted the donor FPs.
You may be making a critical mistake in assuming that any of this really happened. I mean, you can lie on the internet, right? Not that anyone does, but it is possible.I fully realize that. I mean, I know obvious cases but if the people have real names and real tickets is there something else they did to them?
LOL. We do Country Bears every visit. It's one of my husband's favorite childhood memories, and my favorite place to nap.I bet DH forgot that Country Bears and Space Mountain took the same coupon! Wait till I show him
No. Surely you must be kidding. This can't possibly happen. Can it?You may be making a critical mistake in assuming that any of this really happened. I mean, you can lie on the internet, right? Not that anyone does, but it is possible.![]()
I drug DH there sometime last year. He has not let me forget it yet. I am ok with corny. I mean, I grew up going to Opry Land every day for goodness sakes. Corny is in my blood. A little Tiki Room, a little Country Bears and I'm good for a while. But really, an E ticket. Someone was clearly on drugs to put it there.......LOL. We do Country Bears every visit. Ha! Remember Tiki Room with Iago? We did Tiki Room one visit and the next time our kids were like No thanks.I drug DH there sometime last year. He has not let me forget it yet. I am ok with corny. I'm old enough to remember (which is probably why I had forgottenAt the time of the opening of MK, audio animatronics were an incredible new technology. Any attraction that included them in any substantial form were very popular E tickets. Country Bears was longer and more appropriate for the Western shows that were popular on TV at the time. We tend to think of the older attractions in modern terms, but this truly was a groundbreaking piece of technology in the early to mid 70s. It was every bit an E ticket attraction then.

They were deleted from the accounts that had not scanned into the park. In this case the donor was his son who is real, but not there.

I do wonder how many people are doing this without a clue they are breaking any rules? Sure we all know it's in the TOS but how many users have read the TOS. And yes, I realize not reading the TOS is no excuse for not knowing it. Just saying that there are an awful lot of guests at Disney that are not terribly computer savy and wouldn't think they are headed to Disney Jail for using Grandma's band when she was too tired to head to the park after 7 days at Disney. Will they remove all of Grandma's FP for the rest of the trip? That would be my assumption. They attempted twice to "change" the FP+ but the tickets they were on had not been scanned to enter. Lock. They went to GR who then looked at the MDE and saw XX number of FP+ booked on tickets that had not scanned to enter. I would assume they would delete all FP+ associated with names not scanned at front gate.
My bet - they will not. Will they remove all of Grandma's FP for the rest of the trip?
I'm guessing if Grandma has been in the park in the last few days they simply tell you FPs are not transferrable and that you have to use your own band. But if Grandma hasn't been in the park in a year and someone says "oh, sorry. She'll be in tomorrow" and then pulls the same act the next day, I'm thinking Grandma's FPs should get tossed...I do wonder how many people are doing this without a clue they are breaking any rules? I would guess that they would leave Grandma's stuff alone if they see that she is an actual visitor. That would be easy enough to see if the group is staying onsite. I don't know what they do when it comes to off-site visitors though. Maybe they only delete FP for that day? Hopefully poor Grandma won't want to go that night.I do wonder how many people are doing this without a clue they are breaking any rules?
