What is Going On Week of Feb 12?

Not seeing much in resort availability at the values that week.

Wondering if Twirlers/Cheerleaders will be in the world, etc. or do lots of folks go to WDW for Valentine's Day week?

Crowd calendar I looked at said low/moderate attendance vs President's Day week.

Haven't been this time period for at least 5 years, as I recall it's a great time to visit. Warm enough for us coming from the frozen north lol.

Play with the number of nights you are trying to get. Some times if you have a few nights, you will see no available, but if you up it by 2 or 3, all of a sudden all dates will be available.
Strong chance that if you are looking just for valentines weekend, it might actually be totally sold out.

crap, I just bought plane tickets for Feb 6-11, 2017. May need to rethink that, thankfully SW has no change fees!

Oh no, have done our time w/the girls in the past, sigh.

Now to find a list of what hotels are designated as 'official'.

I see what you are talking about. Pop shows availability those dates for all room categories, Music has only family suites, the rest show sold out.

Yes, I called Disney. Was told Pop would be last/overflow value to be utilized. Said Sports is typically #1 in popularity, followed closely by Movies and Music.

I pulled up the info from last year, appears that moderates were also offered - POR-R, CSR & CBR. However, Pop was listed in the brochure.

At this point I'm getting quotes for HBC, working on assumption that it'd be less popular since it's not offered in the packages for the event.

Had to laugh when the CM told me there was another group competition starting the last 2 days of our stay. They'll get me coming & going.

Normally, I'd laugh it off but it's our 25th wedding anniversary trip.

I had cheerleaders throughout my April trip this year and i think pop warner cheerleaders for my nov29/dec6 trip this year.
As long as they don't break haunted mansion next time.............

Rah-rah. I booked offsite @ HBC hoping smaller percentage lands there. At least a chance to get a unit on high enough floor so that the girls' practicing/chanting is not quite as loud in the early am hours.

Our first park day will be 12th February. Do I need to be worried?
