what is going on w/ online ressies?

I have been looking at "PLEASE WAIT WHILE WE COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST" for 20 minutes. I got tire of waiting and logged back in, plugged in my ressie (which is for LC) AND I got a message that I already had that date, to cancel and rebook. I did....and now it happening again. :confused3

I don't think it is you, I had that same problem 2 days ago trying to book Breakfast at Boma's. I booked a resi, waited and waited, went back and tried again and suddenly I had 2 reservations. Then it kept prompting me to cancel one of the reservations. Eventually, I ended up with what I wanted and the problem subsided, but I honestly do not know how or why:confused3. If this continues, you may have to wait and call this one in.
 

This happened to me yesterday morning and I posted a thread. Don't wait 20 minutes. This happened for every reservation. I waited a minute or two, then logged out, logged in and checked "my reservations" and to my surprise my reservation was in my list. I jotted down the number and entered it into the section to check my reservation and it was there!! I got no email confirmation, but I have a number that comes up on my list and is good if you check it. Now I know why there are so many empty tables. This has happened to me before and I never got a confirmation number, nor an email, but I did indeed have a reservation, which I didn't know I had. If this problem remains there won't be any availability, but lots of empty tables. So after you get into a "wait" for a minute or so, try to log out and log in and check to see if your ADR is on your dining reservation list. ALL of mine were and all have been confirmed.
 
I don't have any faith in the on line reservation system.

I made a reservation on line , received a confirming email and when I called to confirm , a few days before my trip, I had no reservation.
 
Make sure you register and log in because when that happens you can go back to 'MY RESERVATIONS" and it will be listed. This has happened to me numerous times and if you dont log in there is absolutely no way to find the reservation after that happens. If you dont see the reservation within a minute or two just forget it, it will never come up you will be waiting for nothing. Make sure to log in with the name & password, if your confirmation doesnt come up within a minute go to "my reservations" and you will find it. This is very important step because if something rare comes up like Ohana you definitely dont want this happening.
 
This happened to me when I made majority of my ADRs. I refreshed my browser after about a minute or two, then checked My Reservations to make sure it was there and clicked on the ressie to make sure it pulled up. Only once have I had one disappear but I figured it would because when I tried to click the details link nothing came up. My other 10 or so ressies are just fine but, I printed them just so I won't have any problems when the time comes.
 
Don't worry it's not just you as you can see! Same thing happened to me for all but one of my ADRs, it seems like pretty much once you hit "Confirm" it's almost automatic. I accidently closed my browser window about 3seconds after hitting confirmed, so I figured there's no way it went through and when I went to make the ADR the second time, it told me I already had the same reservation.

I use Firefox, so it's definitely not just on IE!
 
It says not to hit "refresh" but I get this this problem with almost every reservation. So I hit refresh and it moves on. I reported the problem to Disney's Support but they never fixed it. :(
 
Same thing here just refreshed then checked my reservations and all were confirmed I wrote down all conf# so I had them though just in case better to be safe than sorry:)

Very strange. I guess I'll call just to verify all of mine! I would think they'd need to try and accomodate your reservation, though, since you had the confirmation #.
