What is going on in Mid October?

We ended up having to move our trip back from this week and so we are planning on going October 17-22 but noticed the Hojo is completely booked and hotel rates are higher than what they would have been had we gone this week. I know there is the halloween party but is that all?

Utah schools are out the 20-21 so there are lots us heading that direction.

Blizzcon will fall on the weekend, but that won't be a huge event for the Anaheim Convention Center.

It's probably due to the Halloween parties.

I noticed that as well. We have our trip planned for Oct. 20-23, but originally had it planned for the weekend of Oct. 27-30. I can get a "premium" room at the Ramada Maingate for $88 for the last weekend. However, for the earlier weekend the same room is $117. Go figure! The search continues!
