What is gas now where you live?

We just went from 3.99 to 4.17 today in Southwest MI.

Same here in West Michigan, it went from 3.90 to 4.17. I filled up when it was still 3.90 and I had to wait in line 20 minutes. Each gas pump was 2-3 cars deep.

Wow, looks like we were at a good price at $3.80 for being in Michigan. It jumped to $4.17 this afternoon - almost a 40 cent jump!

Western burbs of Chicago $4.29...we were just announced as Chicago having the highest gas prices in the nation! Oh Joy!

I saw that the gas price jumped from $3.93 to $4.17 since last night. Of course, NOW I need gas. Then, when I saw that E-85 is "only" $3.19! I forgot that my Suburban can run on E-85 so I filled up with that and saved about $20! Now, I'll just have to see if I can still get the same gas mileage.

Paid $4.099 for 87 octane this morning in Romeo, MI. Saw it as high as $4.179 last nite and I just kept on going hoping to get it cheaper this morning. Total fill up was $89.00 for 21 gallons in my mini van :-(

I'd be curious if you do or not.

I gladly paid about 15 cents more for some ethanol free gas the other day. I usually get better MPG with ethanol free, and the price would have to be at least 10-15 percent higher to negate the potential MPG gain. At $3.50-$3.75, 15 cents is not even 5%, so definitely worth it, IMO!
