What is first thing you do at magic kingdom

Oddly enough, we have never gone to MK first thing in the morning, we usually do it as an afternoon or a MVMCP/MNSSHP kind of experience. I don't have any particular plan of attack. We love PotC, so I guess that would be our first priority, I know it is for this trip! Maggie

With our DS 7 we head straight to Tomorrowland and to the Buzzlighter and Stitch rides. Hoping one day to do away with the Stitch attraction, but I don't see it happening until he's older. :confused3

Our first thing used to be getting picture done if front of the castle, then off to HM... November will probably be picture then Winnie the Pooh!

We usually take a nice leisurely walk down Main Street, then head straight into Adventureland. And once there its POTC!

WE just stand, look, smell and drink in the thought that we're back, actually in Walt Disney World. Now, after 38 some visits, children grown, and us in our late 50's, alot of memories come back right from this spot. The smell of the pop corn wagon, clippy clop of the horse trolley, and the blare of the train steam whistle. Its amazing, after all these years and visits the park is still the same, holds all the wonders we discovered years ago and experienced with our children growing up and now stand, still in awe, ourselves, still in awe. Nothing can take its place or erase the memories, the magic goes on forever.

Its one feeling checking into our favorite resort as well as stepping into our room for the first day but nothing says we're back as passing the turnstiles at the MK, and emerging from the train tunnel into the beginning of Main Street. Off we go into the Eporium for a hint of souveniors and back to Main Street to get the smell of Casey's hot dog until we cross that bridge into Adventureland where we usually begin our day at the Magic Kingdom, pure heaven, nothing more needs be said.!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I cannot wait to go now. :Pinkbounc We leave in 36 hours :Pinkbounc THANK you so much for that post.

We take pictures in front of the castle and then off to POTC, Splash, then BTMRR!!!

I soo agree with you. We as a family love Main Street. We stop at at the Bakery if we don't have ADR for the Royal Table for our DGrD. There is nothing like the the sounds and excitement when you stand on main street looking up at the Castle. I grew up in southern CA . My fisrt trip was back in 1965 and I was 5 years old. Over the years I went to DL over a 100 times.
So I have a special moment when we first come out from under the tunnel and onto main street.

Now as I stand there with my DH,DD's,DS,DSinL but especially my 3 DGrC's a flood of warm memories come to mind. But most special is the new memories we are making with our family. Memories are transportable, indestructible, so please take the time to make wonderful new ones for you and your family they will carry then with always.

I love to smell the popcorn on Main Street!!!
