I'm going to Savannah Ga. this weekend. I like to look at the old houses
and hear the history.
and we get to go to Lady and sons for dinner.

I'll turn SE and wave from Atlanta :-)

Other things you can do:
Kevin Barry's on River Street
Huey's on River Street
Daquri's on Bay
Bonaventure Cemetary

I'll be at church for our Lammas ritual on Saturday. And working the John Meyer concert on Sunday.

Well, I've been off work sick, but I'll be headed back tomorrow. Feeling MUCH better today, so off to Smokey Bones for lunch.

Supposed to be going down the shore, but I'm not feeling great - half of the dam office is sick! So who know's. I know if I don't go - Chris will have a cow!

Hope both you and ConcKahuna get to feeling better

me too! Thanks :) Maybe if there were tumble monkeys around the office :rotfl:

Oh my God! DP loves Paula Dean. We subscribe to her magazine and she tivo's the show. I think she'd be just as happy with a honeymoon to Savannah and dinner at The Lady and Sons as she would with going to Disney LOL...

As for the weekend, I have to work every day so it'll just be lazying around the house in the evenings for me and Mandie has the house to herself all day while I'm gone.

Actually this one is a quiet one for us .I get to go to….wait for it…..a Tupperware party tonight after work ( I m not thrilled but it is for a good friends mom whose house burned to the ground and she needs to replace everything.) Then Saturday I get to work all day (I am in the swimming pool business after all). Then I get to meet some friends for dinner at the local brewery then off to the club, home around 3-4 am. Then Sunday I get to go to work all over again! Usually on Sundays we go hiking or biking with friends and then dinner at our house but those friends are on vacation so I think we actually have an evening to ourselves this week.

Tonight we will probably just veg around the house..

Sat is over to Jersey to visit with the family.

Sunday is work in the am and shopping in the afternoon..

thats about it..

I hope everyone who isn't feeling well feels great by this weekend....

I'm going shopping with my eldest today for her trip to NYC to visit her sister. She's traveling by train and it'll take her three days. I love the train but it's soooo expensive to use the sleeping cars.

Tomorrow I'm taking a lead test....I've just finished Chelation which is the removal of heavey metals from the tissues..they found 3x the normal amount in my system...so this is the retest to see if the chelation worked.

Sunday is all mine and I plan to laze in my PJ's all damn day:cool1:

Gardening
Santa Clara County Fair
Shopping for a computer desk
Possibly some painting in the house
Maybe go see the Simpsons
Editing some Disneyland vacation video

I'm headed up to PA to my family's place because a high school friend is getting married. I'll be subjected to the NASCAR/country music/Republican/Redneck crowd. **sigh** I can't even have a few drinks to make it all more tolerable:(

Please think of me!

(No offense to those who might be into NASCAR, country music, or being Republican but for me who's fled to the land of the liberals it's rather unnerving)

Welcome to my neck of the woods.

I am continuing to recover from the MRSA cellulitis infection that put me in the hospital last week for 4 days. My leg is still painful and red. I have another week of antibiotics to go before I will be all gone. I am so tired of being sick and tired.

On top of that my Chihuahua, Beanie, who had a bad heart died on Tuesday night. I am still getting used to being down to just the three dogs.

On top of all of that, we have decided that George, one of our cats, must be dead because it's been about 5 weeks and our old fixed homebody cat is still nowhere to be found. We are worried that a coyote killed him, so now instead of one indoor cat, we have three. Did I mention that I hate a litter box?

Finally, we have to get Gabby packed and sent out Sunday to Pittsburg, NY, for business.

Life sorta sux over here. Maggie

Tonight, going to a Napoleon exhibit at the St. Louis Art Museum (only building remaining from the 1904 World's Fair).

Tomorrow night, going to see Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Muny Theater (nation's largest and oldest outdoor theater). I've seen it about 5 times so far in various theaters and cities. I still love it.

Wow, things sound really rough for you right now. I know exactly what you mean about being tired of being sick and tired..it's awful to have a lingering illness.

I'm sorry about your dog and cat...I know I cried like a baby when I thought my cat had wandered off.

I hate litter boxes too, and there just doesn't seem to be a good spot for it. Just two weeks ago I moved it into our bathroom from the computer room and while it's not so bad using the bathroom as such...taking a bath STINKS...literally! I keep forgeting to remove it while I try to loll:scared1:

Long story short, when I met Paula at the 2005 F&W festival, she personally invited me to the Lady & Sons. I haven't been able to make it down there yet, but I thought I would share this with all of you. I have another with the boys.

Maggie so sorry to hear of all your troubles. I hope your feeling better every day. My sympathies for Beanie and George.

Cayla is working tonight and Sunday. Tomorrow we will take the boat out on Greenwood Lake. We'll go tubing if we find a 3rd to drag along with us. Otherwise we'll just tool around the lake.

I work in Atlantic City and Sir Tom Jones is performing in our theater tonight so I'm meeting some college friends for dinner and the show. I know...I know...I'm only 36 years old, why am I going to Tom Jones? To be honest, it will be my 5th time seeing him:rolleyes1 I just love his music.....call me odd!

Tomorrow it's over to the beach for some much needed sun!

Tonight DD is having her first sleepover. So I guess I will be making popcorn, painting toenails, and watching Hannah Montana ad nauseum. WooHoo!

This weekend is our annual tax free weekend down here. The idea is to help people buy all their "school-related" items with less of a financial pinch. There are some weird things on the tax-exempt list...wedding dresses, diapers, and hunting vests. Go figure. DP called me at work today to say "Uhhhh...the vacuum cleaner's on fire...." So I am hoping I can get a new one tomorrow without having to pay tax. :thumbsup2 I mean, DD has to be able to sit on a clean floor to do her homework, so I figure it's school related.

Sunday it's off to pick blueberries in the AM, and then DD has a playdate with a "younger man" who has an inflatible waterslide in his yard.

Note to self: Work on getting myself some playdates!
