What is Estoppel

Its a document sent from Disney after ROFR has passed.

It confirms the Deed, Resort, how many points it has, any banked points etc.

Yes, I believe as MacMan123 says it's a confirmation to the title company from Disney that you are buying what you think and not oceanfront property in Arizona.

It's a form that details if the sellers owe DVD any $$ for a loan, MF, or late fees. There's no info detailing the points or even the resort, just the contract number and money owed, if any.

Yes, I got an copy of the actual estoppel from the title company, it's mostly money owed and confirmation of exactly how many points is the contract, not the actual points left in the contract. So, more of a verification of number of points you are buying. Of course the title company blanked out / wiped out the actual amounts for loan, mf dues, late fee's, etc.., basically just left the verification portion.

Great3

The one my title agent sent me didn't even have that, no points stated anywhere, the only number it had that wasn't $0 was the 2020 dues total - so I suppose the points could be backed into from that number. 🤷‍♀️ I was expecting a more helpful document, but alas.
