What is early June like (crowds)?

Just returned from a wonderful visit and were surprised at the crowds...not upset, but in our prior trips in May it has never been a 90 minute wait for anything. So am thinking about early June next year.... like the first week of June. Are most schools still in? What about grad events? BTW, my DD gets out on June 1 from school.

The new Cars Land will be a big factor come next June... If it is not open by then the parks will be busy. If it is open the crowds will be insane!

Early June has historically been a great time to visit. But like CrazyDuck said, new rides will make it busier this year and next probably more so if Carsland is open.

We've visited several times in late May/early June. I've noticed that it's been getting more and more crowded at that time of year. Not as bad as holiday season, but it's not as empty as it used to be.

We always visit around this time of year and have found the waits to be minimal. With the new rides, I'm thinking this year will be a little different. Single digit dance day for me and my family today and I already am having trouble sleeping.

We are anxious to see Carsland next year and my kids are out of school at the end of May (this week next year) but we will wait until the week before they have to go to school in August before we brave the parks. It actually makes me wonder if Thanksgiving will be less crazy than early August next year? At least the weather will be better.

Most public schools in AZ get out in May, or the first week of June. We always go during school, during the week, so your "crowded" is probably a lot different than my "crowded", lol. I would rather not go at all than go in June! Although like they said, if Carsland isn't open yet...I bet it'll be less crowded, because everyone will be waiting to go until it opens!
