What is DVC Annual Pass Tourist Charter?

I just ordered two APs with the DVC discount and some Magic Your Way tickets before the price increase and I saw a DVC Annual Pass Tourist Charter price. What is this? I have not heard of this pass before.

DVC Annual Pass Resident Charter which is 37$ cheaper?????

does resident mean someone who lives in Florida and Tourist someone who lives outside florida???

Charter Annual Passes are ones that have been kept continuously in effect since first offered in 1982. They are no longer available for purchase.

not many going to have this distinction.....smilawgs

There is some information on the Theme Parks forum. If you purchased an AP the first year they became available and have renewed it every year since then, you are eligible to purchase at the Charter price.
