What is Door Tag?.......

Would someone please tell me how to play door tag?

I didn't know there was a game but I do know there are quite a few people who make tags (magnetic ones) for their doors. If you do a search on door signs you'll probably find a thread or 10.

We had the "tag fairy" on our Thurkeyday 04 Western sailing. Tags kept appearing on fellow "disers" doors the whole sailing, and no one ever saw her?

On our 09/19 Wonder sailing last year we played DIS tag. Someone ( I dont recall what DISer) made a lime green mickey head magnet, about the size of a fist or little larger. Then, they placed it on a DISers stateroom door ( we had exchanged info on our cruise meet thread) ...taht person then had to put ther screenname and room number on the magnet and put it on another DISers door, and so on and so forth. It was neat What was so odd was that I htink our magnet ended up on the last door, and it was the DISers door who made it to begin with! LOL

Not only do you get to find fellow DISers staterooms while cruising you get to see other DISers' WONDERful or MAGICal door signs they've created. Be sure to get to know your fellow cruisers and remeber to pack the fellow cruisers list in your luggage. Have fun!

We played door tag on the 10 day cruise. I kept a master list and anyone who wanted to play we put a T in a mickey ear next to their name. Then one of our fellow cruisers made up 3 mickey heads (we had a lot of DIS'ers) and put room numbers on the back. When it showed up on your door you signed the front, crossed your name off the back and found another DIS'ers room to "tag". It was a lot of fun and yes seeing the others door signs added to the fun.

Just back from 4/9/05. I don't know about "tag" But we were part of a group of 19. My husband made magnetic door signs for everyone. They are great for finding your door quickly & for little kids. Guest services said they had people ask them where to buy them. Some of the magnets disappeared. Those mementos of our trip are gone now.

I was too on the April 9th magic...someone took our neighbors down the hall on deck 2 and we sent down a little magic too. I hope it was to you!! If not, I understand the treasured memories to be gone....we had lots of magnets on our doors for all of my kids and it meant so much to them...and for teenagers to even say a word about that was impressive....
boy, rough waves the last night but a wonderful cruise.....
