We are used to going to WDW in Orlando on offseason (September), but may have a chance to go to DL in April, 2013. What would it be like crowd wise? Is it "peak" season, meaning more expensive hotel rates and car rental rates etc?

Easter falls on March 31st in 2013 and I think traditionally, more schools are out on spring break for the week before and after Easter. I'm hoping that later in April will not be as crowded because we are trying to plan our trip for the 3rd week.

We are also looking at the 3rd week of April so interested in what your opinions are. DS is now going into 1st grade so no more off season WDW trips so we were looking at a DL trip. Hoping crowds lower so that there will be shorter lines for DD who will be 3

The rates will be higher in April, much more so then the fall when you usually go. The crowds will be higher, Manageable but higher!
