Has anyone who has cruised on the Magic since drydock spent time in Diversions (used to be Off Beat)? I have read it's a sportsbar now. Do they have any entertainment, like Karoake? Do they serve Sports Bar food like wings or nachos? I want to know for my upcoming cruise in January. I'll be on the Magic for Superbowl Sunday!!!:hyper:

HADD!!! :wave2:

I was just on the Thanksgiving week cruise and went to Diversions several times. (lots of football, Sat, Sun, Mon, Thurs...)
I thought it was a great place; comfortable chairs, big screen TV and lots of other monitors.

There was always some sort of mini-food bar setup. Nachos, mini-sub sandwiches, etc...

Since there was so many football games (and I did have a few other things to do during the cruise) I didn't see any non-game entertainment. The Navigator did list one night with Pub trivia and another with "acoustic sounds - Carl and his guitar".

Rock'n D bar had lots of activities, karaoke, bingo, etc.

DS really wants to watch monday night football (or at least part of it) with DH. They let him in espn last year will they let him in diversions? He is ten.

The stated policy is:

"All lounges on Deck 3 forward are for Guests 18 years & older after 9:00 pm"

"...family events in Rockin' Bar D & Diversions before 9:00pm are nonsmoking."

There were lots of kids in Diversions Sat. for Michigan's glorious victory over the Bucknuts ;) but that was in the afternoon.
