What is Disney Dining Experience card for AP holders?

I just read in another thread something about Disney dining experience card that you can get as an AP member, what is this card about and how much does it cost?

it costs $60 and it gets you 20% off your meal. i bought mine just before i left dec 3. i picked up a temporary card at the guest relations (outside park) at epcot. it takes about 4 weeks to get it in the mail

some of the restaurants i used it at were marrakesh, yachtsman, flying fish, whispering canyon, hollywood brown derby, artists pallette. i already made my $60 back. just about all the restaurants participate. they will send you a list with your card

it's good for a year. you can get extra cards say for your spouse for $25 but if he/she is always with you then there is no need because it's 20% off entire bill and not just for cardholder. i feel it's worth it if you go several times a year which i assume you do if you're a AP holder.
