Can someone please tell me about dinner at O'hana?

Is there entertainment? Is it loud? How is the food?

Thanks!

'Ohana's Menu

The entertainment is geared more toward families/kids
They have Coconut races, hula hoop contest and
Hula dancing

The food is great. the meat is cooked on an open fire pit on 3ft long skewers. The rest of the food (except the pineapple and carmel dessert) is brought out on a lazy susan and served family style. It is all you can eat.

We loved 'Ohana. We had a great view of the castle and at fireworks time they dim the lights and pipe in the music- pure magic! It's a very friendly restaurant- everyone calls you cousin and makes sure you have PLENTY to eat! Salad, veggies, sweet Hawaiian bread, fried rice, wontons, chicken wings, pork, shrimp, steak and turkey breast- all you can eat! It was probably our favorite meal of the trip. They have two games for the kids- a hula hoop contest where a Hawaiian guy plays the ukalele while the kids hula hoop, and a coconut race for the kids- they get gummi worms for participating. Even with all that going on, it was still a relaxing, enjoyable dinner for us. Try it!

We are planning a late dinner... do they still do the games around 9:15>

Well-I think O'hana's is loud. The nite we ate there , the "MC" was a lady who was so loud on the microphone that it almost seemd like she was screaming. We were seated in the "quiet area" (by request) and that kept down the noise a little.
Certainly not a place for a quiet, romantic dinner.
