In the cruise brochures it shows an option itinerary for the Fouright cruise, which includes Grand Bahama. How do you choose this? My land/sea itinerary only gave us 1 choice Nassau & Castaway Cay.

There are two options for the 4 day. One is Nassau, Day at Sea and Castaway Cay. The other option is Nassau, Freeport and Castaway Cay.

Suzanne,
Thanks for your answer, but I still do not understand. The Land/Sea package never asked which option we wanted. If the ship and sailing dates are the same how do you choose which ports you wish to go to. Is it only when you book a 4 day cruise by itself?

I believe it has to do with the sailing date. You don't get to choose the port on a given sailing but you can choose a sailing that stops at one set of ports or the other.

The dates are marked in color in the area in the book where it denotes what days they sail. Although, it can be changed without notice so you're better off calling DCL & inquiring.

For example:
When I booked our 4-nt L/S pkg. I specifically looked for dates WITHOUT the Freeport stop & WITH the day @ sea.

However, since then, DCL contracted to extend their Freeport stop for certain sail dates thru 2003 & so we're stuck with the Freeport stop - even though I picked certain sail dates that avoided it originally.

It's always better to call & ask.

I wish I would have known that, I booked the land/sea for May 6th. The cruise does not stop in Grand Bahama, but i wish it did! It goes there the following week. Oh well, i am sure it will be great anyway.
