What is considered "2 active wait lists"?

I understand a member is only allowed to have 2 active wait lists, but I'm confused about what is considered a separate wait list. If I want to wait list for the same dates for a bunch of different resorts, is that allowed, or do I have to choose just 2 resorts/views? I was just told by a CM that waitlisting for StdView at BWV and Preferred, Boardwalk view at BWV for the same nights hits my maximum number of wait lists and I can't add the 3rd view or another resort. Was that correct? I thought it referred to 2 different date ranges.

the CM was correct.

if you waitlist BW-preferred view and BLT-lake view, you're done. 2 options and that is all.

Any two active requests complete your waitlist "quota". That can be two different dates, two different resorts or even just (as in your case) two different booking categories at the same resort.

I am currently waitlisted for a BCV dedicated 2 BR, and a BCV 2 BR lockoff. Even though it's the same night and the same resort, it's considered two waitlists.

Thanks for the quick replies! Kind of a bummer because we just wanted to try somewhere we hadn't tried before and planned to waitlist all those places. But thankful we have a ressie somewhere we like (and own) at least!

A waitlist is any group of consecutive dates for a single booking category.

The BWV has 3 booking categories for studios - Standard view, Peferred View -Pool/Garden, and Preferred View - Boardwalk view. It also has three booking categories for 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms. There is only one booking category for Grand Villas since they are overlook the Boardwalk.

Booking categories vary by resort.

You can always call and check on other possibilities though.
