what is cling film?

I am moderately crafty and am working on decoractions for out AOA LM window. I saw a post where someone had cut out many different mickey head shapes. They said they used cling film, I asked them but never got an answer. What is cling film? and where do you get it? ANd this is what I want to cut out shapes and they will stick to the window?

I'm taking a guess,as I have never bought the stuff but i have bought the window clings at dollar store--sometimes I've found disney ones there.

Just wanted to chip in that cling film is what they call cling wrap, plastic wrap, food wrap, glad wrap, saran wrap (whatever you want to call it!) in the UK. While it would stick to windows, I imagine it would also be notoriously difficult to work with...I have trouble enough using it to cover the top of a bowl or wrap a sandwich!

you print on the Window Clings (don't know more than that) so you could do Mickey heads

I have used the Window Cling sheets before and I bought them locally at either Staples or Office Max (can't remember which). You just run them through your standard inkjet printer and you can print any desired design/picture you wish.
