I have eaten beef, chicken and pork...and shellfish and some whitefish that is about as adventurous as I get

I've never had mutton or goat, either but I really like the lamb. It's not too "lamby" tasting. Just tastes good. If you're not sure, maybe they will let you try a sample before you decide. We were just at DLR today and they let DD8 try a sample of the chicken bites at Ralph Brennans Jazz Express to make sure they weren't too spicy for her. I'm sure all you'll need to do is ask.

I find that lamb doesn't taste much different from beef when prepared like it is for gyros or schwarma. The meat is processed with seasonings, packed back into a cylindrical form, and then roasted. The taste is more of the seasonings than the meat.

Typical seasonings are:
-vinegar
-garlic
-cardamom
-allspice
-lemon

Tastes like a gyro to me.

Same here. It was a good meal, but I was a little disapointed that it was meatloaf on a stick instead of meat on a stick.
