What is chicken schwarma?

Never had it but since it gets such great reviews I would like to try it...is it ground chicken, sliced chicken, how it is seasoned, how is it served, hot or cold?

I've had a lamb schwarma and it is wonderful. I've never heard of a chicken schwarma.

I haven't had it in WDW but it is delicious! Mine was like grilled chicken pieces with a garlic-y sauce in a pita I think. I haven't had it in awhile.

We've had the combo schwarma from Tangieriene Cafe in Morocco which had both the chicken and lamb. We actually like the lamb better-more flavorful!

We had it in Sept. 06 and we missed having it last Sept. We won't miss it next time though.

I've never had it in Disney World but I buy it at home. I believe they stack chicken tightlly on a huge scewerer, cook in roitisserie style and then slice it off they way they do a gyro. I eat mine in a pita with a garlicky sauce and other yummy toppings.
It's delicious

This was our experience exactly! The lamb was fantastic, the chicken - not so much. It wasn't bad, exactly, just couldn't measure up to the lamb.

I have to have this dish every time I visit Epcot. DH doesn't really like it, so he will get something else from another pavilion and we'll meet somewhere in the middle. As much as the chicken, I love the other things that come with it. The hummus is great, and I always love the tabbouleh salad. It's a really good amount of food, and very tasty. I don't find the taste to be overwhelming, just flavorful. Enjoy!

So this may sound stupid but what does lamb taste like? Is it the same texture as beef? Is it gamey?

We had the Lamb and Chicken platter just last week! I have to agree the lamb is better than the chicken an all of the sides are fantastic.

A gyro is kind of like lamb meat loaf sandwich (for the lack of a better description). The meat is formed and put on a skewer and slow cooked in a rotisserie.

it tastes like mutton but is not as tough
and sweeter than goat but not as stringy
nice with garlic , rosemary or mint sauce

I have eaten beef, chicken and pork...and shellfish and some whitefish that is about as adventurous as I get
