Saturday Night Live did a parody game show about this USA Networks show making fun of the fact that no one knows what it's about. My son and I are TV fanatics and I admit... I have no idea? But's it's supposed to be one of the highest rated shows on TV.

First thing I thought is someone on THE DIS HAS TO KNOW!!

So What IS Burn Notice? Do you watch it?

i watch burn notice and love it very much.. its about a former spy, that got "burned" which is pretty much means fired... they relocate him, the only people that still are friendly to him is a guy that was feeding info about him to the government, a trigger happy ex girlfriend ... and his mom... it goes into he takes pretty much freelance cases from everyday people... and goes down from that.. its pretty neat.. all the tricks he knows from being a spy to get into places, protect people..etc​

We love Burn Notice here. We started watching because Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead trilogy, Brisco County Jr, etc) is one of the stars, and we LOVE Bruce. He plays the "friend that used to inform on him to the FBI." Gabrielle Anwar is the "trigger happy ex-girlfriend" although ex should be in quotation marks. She was the lead in the 90's Disney movie "Wild Hearts Can't be Broken." Sharon Gless plays the lead character's Mom, and she's fun to watch. A couple of weeks ago, they had an episode that guest starred Tyne Daley (Gless' co-star in the 80's show Cagney & Lacey).

It's a mix between the first Mission Impossible movie and a modern day Robin Hood. The lead, Michael Weston, was disavowed in "Mission Impossible speak", burned in the show speak, and has been trying to clear his name, and find out who was responsible and why. That's the show's arc. But since he needs to pay the bills in the mean time, he takes jobs where he is helping out people that have been "wronged" in some way.

Lol, I saw that SNL skit and laughed like crazy. My best friend and I asked the same thing when we first saw the commercials during Monk.

It is a show full of beautiful people. And the Cagney and Lacey episode was hilarious. You just can't think too hard about the show because there is much that doesn't add up or make sense.

Another Burn Notice fan here. I've watched it on and off since season 1. I don't really watch any show regularly, but this and NCIS are the ones I watch the most.

Great characters. Fiona and Sam crack me up, and I love to watch and listen to Michael.
