What is best place to buy an AP?

I just noticed my Disney Club membership expired. What is the cheapest place to buy an annual pass for my DD5? Would it be AAA or DS? Thanks for your help

I know you can renew your Disney Club membership at a prorated rate. But you mentioned AAA can you buy an AP from AAA at a discount rate.

As far as I know Disney Club was the only discount for AP's. My AAA only has 4 and 5 day passes...

We just bought our AP's at the Disney Store with Disney Club for $377.01 adult and $320.57 child. Maybe you should DC and see if you can renew it to the end of the year...some people have done that.

Regular price is $392 adult and $334.41 child

edited to say that these rates quoted are for NEW APs and not RENEWAL APs...

Kelli - although the website does say no more memberships or renewals, you can still renew your membership through the end of the year at the prorated rate. A friend of mine renewed hers last week so it IS being done. Good Luck

No they were not Premium rates, they were regular AP rates...but they are for a NEW AP and not the "renewal" rate for APs.

I called the DC and thanks to you ... i did renew .. it was pro-rated at about $19.95. So that is well worth it. I will get my DD's AP and get the discount at the TDS and at DD when I am there. Thanks!

Can a relative with a dc membership buy your AP for you?
My mother in law still has a valid Disney Club card but I don't

Your mother-in-law can buy anything she wants with her membership. You'd just have to pay her back.

You can't, however, borrow her card and buy them yourself...

I just called the DC and they told me that if your membership expired in 2002, then you couldn't renew. Only if it expired in 2003. I'm outta luck! Oh, well.
