I have always make PSs for my meals. Can someone tell me what an ADR is? Does it replace the old PS system?

Advance Dinner (Dining) Reservation

It's just a system that lets you call up to 180 days in advance to make your reservations.

They used to call it PS (priority seatings) now they call it ADR's (Advanced Dining Reservations). I'm not really sure why they changed the name. Maybe someone else knows.

This is a total guess on my part, but I think that "priority seating" implies that you are getting the best seats in the house (e.g., seats right next to the aquarium at Coral Reef, seats with best views of fireworks, etc.). In actuality, all you were really booking was any available seat in the restaurant.

ADR just implies that you'll get a seat - no way of mistaking it for thinking you are getting a "good" seat.
