I noticed our booking for the Newport Bay Club has 'Admiral's Floor' noted on it... i googled and all the information i seemed to find was years old... :confused3

It seemed to be an 'executive' type floor... but like i said, it was old information. Does anyone have some recent experience with this?

Also, if anyone could tell me what sort of room i should request on check in i would be grateful! :worship:

It has its own check in desk & I think you don't have to pay for towel hire if you use the pool.

They used to have other perks but these stopped a few years back.

You also get a voucher when you check in for one free tea and coffee basket. These aren't included in normal rooms.

I think you also have the option for pay for room service on AF. You don't in the standard part of the hotel. If it is really busy when you go (depends on what time of year), the hotel is huge - used to be the biggest in Europe, so breakfast (from what I can gather) can have long queues. As a result, a few people get a room on AF and pay for breakfast on room service to alleviate that issue.

Some however have said that if you go for an early breakfast 7 am ish - then there is no issue anyway.

I also think you get bell service (your luggage taken to your room and collected at the end of your stay) on AF. I've not heard anyone mention this recently though so not sure if it's one of the perks that went? :confused3

When I booked I was told bell service was still applicable for AF. And yes you do get the option of room service breakfast - although I think it is an additional 10e. We will make use of this on our lie in mornings I think!

It used to have free afternoon tea - but that's gone now! :-(

Thanks heaps for all that information guys - i really appreciate it! :thumbsup2

I'm so excited for our stay at this hotel, i've only ever stayed at Hotel Santa Fe previously...

Is the 10E per room or per person. Example, if I want breakfast in my room for 2 adults and 3 children will that cost 10E or 50E?

Thanks.
