What is AAA discount??

Hi, I was wondering the AAA discount on rooms would be? I am trying to figure out if it would be better to pull my son out of school (kindergarten) in September for free dining or wait till early December and just use my AAA discount. Thanks!

I don't know much about AAA because I don't have it. However, for our last trip we went with my Brother and SIL and they have AAA and booked everything for us. All I know is my family (me, DH and DD) saved $500 by booking through them. This was just for the resort and our hopper passes. Had we booked it on our own by calling the resort directly and booking the room and buying our passes, it would have been $500 more! That is A LOT of money! We went 11/28-12/4/07. Because they were so easy to work with and this discount we are considering AAA for ourselves.

From the DIS section on Discounts..

...you may want to join the American Automobile Association (AAA). Members typically get 10 to 15% off of the standard room rates. Depending on the accommodations selected and availability, the savings can offset the cost of the membership as well as provide a discount. For packages or cruises, members need to go through AAA directly. For “room only” reservations, AAA members can book with Disney or through a travel agency.
