What is a Tagger Kit? What is the difference between a Tagger Kit and a Full Size Kit?

I googled it - they're digital kits with a pixel size of about 700 x 700. I would assume if you were to print them, they would print out smaller than regular size.

There are people that make tags or sigs for emails or board posting and they use much lower resolution than scrappers, since they never print. Tagger kits are usually between 600x600 to 900x900 in size and at a low res of 72 dpi.

Sometimes I see a designer say it's tagger size but 300dpi, does that mean you can stretch the paper to 12x12? If I'm doing full size 12x12 papers, even if I want to shrink to print at 8x8, should I just totally avoid all the tagger sized kits?

I would avoid them. Stretching papers bigger may end up looking like crap. I have seen some designers have the same kit in print and tagger formats.

Now that I am learning more... I have more questions....

What minimum resolution of papers is good for 12x12 kits? I've see kits that say the papers are 1000x1000, and 1200x1200 and 1600x1600??

Is there any good glossary that has all this explained really well??

You need 3600x3600. That's 12x12 at 300 dpi. This is the minimum size for printing.
