What is a Senior Senior Guide?

I got a letter in the mail yesterday from my guide, and the title under his name said "Senior Senior Vacation Guide". It was not a typo, because his business card said the same thing! What is a Senior Senior Guide? Sounds like something out of the Department of Redundancy Department. If he gets a promotion, will be become a "Senior Senior Senior Guide"?

That doesn't seem likely. It seems to me that the only step up from Senior Senior Vacation Guide would be a supervisory role, perhaps providing leadership other Senior Senior Vacation Guides.

Seems logical that position would be a "Senior Senior Vacation Guide Guide."

Ahhh... I see where this is going. So after he does that job for a few years and gets some experience under his belt, he may be promoted to the level of "Senior Senior Senior Vacation Guide Guide"!

You guys are really missing it, LOL. In an effort to meet the needs of targeted segments of buyers, DVC has now designated guides for senior citizens. If they are an experienced person in this market, that makes them a Senior "Senior Guide." That's my story, and I'm sticking to it, LOL.

OMG! I laughed outloud. Thanks for sharing, as this was priceless. I can just picture the business card now. The least they could have done was put Sr. Senior Guide or if it's targeting seniors, I guess it would be Senior Sr. Guide! At least then it wouldn't have looked like a typo! Oh my.....
