What is a repo cruise?

I have heard so much about repo cruise - can someone please give
me more information about it or where can i get more info?

this is the cruise that "repositions" the Magic from Florida to CA and then back again. These are 14 day cruises and they go through the Panama Canal. I think one is the end of May and the other the end of August. HTH

The first one leaves Florida on May 14, 2005 and arrives in California on May 28, 2005. The return one leaves CA on August 20, 2005 and returns on September 3, 2005. There are still cabins available on both cruises according to the DCL site.

other cruise lines have regular repositioning cruises as well ... moving ships from the Caribbean to Alaska, from the Mexican Riviera runs to Alaska, etc.
