Will be on the Magic on Feb. 22nd and would appreciate any suggestins on what not to miss.
Oh and we will have the second seating for dinner. Is there anytime we should forgo this and just eat at the buffet to see something special.

Hi, Shirley--

The buffet at Topsiders is great if you want to eat earlier than second seating, but there is no reason to miss your regular dining time unless you want to. The main shows are done twice--once for those in late seating and once for those in early seating. The cabaret shows are performed at times that either seating can enjoy.

Have a wonderful time.

One of the main shows not to miss( and I mean do not miss it because it is wonderful)is the storybook show. I don't remember the actual name but it consisted of characters coming out of the storybooks from the great Disney stories. It featured princesses and the princes and even a group that did a Lion King performance. A special appearance by Tinkerbell at the end with a little pixie dust that really makes the finale wonderful!

Hi Shirley 38. My recommendations include all of the family shows presented every evening in the Walt Disney Theatre. AspiringCindy was referring to Disney Dreams, I believe, which is absolutely wonderful.

During the sail-away party, you might want to stand on the Deck 10 bow as the Magic leaves port. It's quite an experience!

Wishing you a most enjoyable cruise.

These are my things that should NOT be missed, but I think a lot of people do...

1)Going up to Deck 10, Forward, and stand against the glass wall of the basketball court, when the ship is going full speed one night... it's a pretty intense and cool feeling.

2)Walking around outside Deck 4, at least once, it's good exercise, but it's also cool to see really how BIG the ship is!

3)If you see something on the menu you have never eaten in your life before, ORDER IT and try it! You can always order what you were planning to anyway, but it's fun to try new things, and when will you ever be able to order as much as you want!

4)Take an hour to explore the art work of the ship, there is some beautiful stuff, and most people walk right past it

And finally, and most importantly... don't get off the ship until you see AT LEAST one sunrise and one sunset at sea.

the chocolate souffle at Palos (really); deck 7 aft when leaving port or CC or anytime at all; the little window on deck 4 that allows you to peek inside the kitchen while they work; if you have kids the kid show at the end of the week is very nice; and my personal favorite is taking a slice and a beer into a late night movie.

Being topside while sailing into any port.
I second DIDNEYGATOR's final and most important suggestion.

The family show at Dueling Pianos!

Hands down the best entertainment on the ship!

DON'T miss Disney Dreams....and be sure to stay until the very end. You don't want to miss the surprise!

Where exactly on deck 4 is the little kitchen window? This sounds kinda cool....thanks! -Gail

I just thought of one thing... for my DS... They no longer do the bridge tour. But, I have heard of being able to overlook the bridge, while the Captain is 'driving' the ship. Do they keep the security blinds down all the time now?

My DS would probably love to see that!

From the Vista Spa exercise room, you can see the bridge. But only during the tour of the Spa upon embarkation can children be there. It was one of the most exciting things that happened to my son when one of the officers turned and saluted him. He still talks about it!

My DH and I really enjoyed the cadillac lounge - Our DD was in the club, and we went wondering around - We stumbled upon the cadillac lounge and we were glad we did - It was, quiet, dark, romantic - and the piano player was excellent!!!

Wow! Thanks Karen! Sounds very, VERY nice there!
