What is a LGMH?

Actually I think I know it is a Lime Green Mickey Head made from the Mickey paint chips at Home Depot.

What are they for? Do you hang them on your bag etc so you can recognize other DISboarders?
Just wondering the significance I guess.

Unfortunately there are many DISers who've seen people in the parks wearing LGMHs and they've approached them, and the person was very rude! I only read that happening mostly in WDW, though. Just make sure you have your DIS name written or printed on the head!

I don't have the LGMH's but if you see me you can say hi anytime.
I am there now and I have a pink Jansport backpack.

This happened to me

I saw a LMGH on a bag of a lady standing outside Space Mountain at WDW while I was waiting for my kids, so I decided to say Hello.

She didn't want to talk to me, gave me a strange look and just walked away

I'm not a weirdo or anything, just thought I'd say Hello, nothing more than that

I wondered afterwards why she bothered displaying the LMGH if she didn't want to be recognised as a DISboarder?

In future, I won't bother talking to anyone unless it is pre-arranged, as I felt quite embarrassed by her reaction.

That's dumb. If they don't want people saying hello, don't wear it. I'll be there a day after you, proudly sporting my LGMH and can definitely spare a nice hello to anyone I see.

Oh, that's weird. Yeah, I wonder why she would have a LGMH in the first place if she didn't want anyone to go up and talk to her. I haven't heard of anything like that happening at DLR. I know I haven't come across any rude people with LGMHs because I can't find any! Haven't seen one yet but I'm going to keep trying.

OK, love that countdown calender! How CUTE!!!!! I wear my LGMH on my bag, tied on with a green ribbon. On my last day I don't wear it because we are normally hitting the rides/pin trading hard but I wear it other days. except my last trip because the lamination isn't holding up well and with the rain I didn't want to ruin my LGMH.

Great idea! I tried making a construction paper chain countdown with my kids but they got board after about 20 links... 'only about 60 more to go kids'
