I have a 2 year old so I want to request a room that's not going to be sitting right next to heavy foot traffic noise.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm sorry dont remember room number but we stayed on first floor, and our patio backed up to the Villas and their quite pool, so we had the edge of the pool view, and a landscaped view and the paito right there so you could walk out and around to the main pool which was really nice a big short cut! WL was VERY quite and REALLY nice! I always ask to be away from elev and ice machines but have not had a problem at Disney, although at the values you will get the kids running the exterior corridors and you do hear more! But still not what I would call bad!

I agree with you we got back today and we stayed in the north wing and loved it but has some trucks making deliveries during the day and may wake up 2 year old. We put up with it for the fireworks they were great.
