What is a Good Neighbor Hotel?

I've seen this phrase in some posts and I was wondering what this means. Are there certain benefits and is there a list of these somewhere? Am I completely overlooking this info?

Good Neighbor hotels are the motels and hotels around Disneyland that Disney works with on there travel packages if you don't want to stay at one of Disney's Own hotels. If you go to the Disney website and click on vacations. You can check prices for Disneyland packages. They will give you a choice of their own hotels or the goodneighbor hotels. You can also go to a travel agent and ask for the Disneyland brochure and the list (with small pictures) will be in there too.
