What is a Dole Whip?

Is it some kind of banana food? I don't understand what it is. I trieds looking it up elsewhere and failed but I know I'll get an answer here!

A Dole Whip is pineapple flavored ss ice cream. It is DE-LISH!!

They also have Dole Whip floats, which is the ice cream covered in pineapple juice. That's my fave! Either one is a good choice. ENJOY!

a dole whip is a delightfully refreshing treat!

it is sold at the aloha isle stand in adventureland near the swiss family robinson tree house near the exit back to the center of the park (near crystal palace)

sorry no bananas are in it though, if that is what you were looking for. it is pineapple flavored ice cream. you can have it swirled with vanilla if you want. they sell it in a cup, or in a float cup, which comes with pineapple juice. on a hot day, this will quench your thirst and make you feel refreshed! i usually get the pineapple dole whip float because i think you end up getting more ice cream out of the float than you do with just getting the cup...

definitely worth the try on your next trip...

OMG that sounds so good. I can't wait to have one! I just heard Dole and thought of bananas. hehe. I swear half the fun of going to WDW is the awesome food you get to have!

It's a must everytime I am in MK. I don't remember the price but nothing in WDW is given away so I'm going to make a wild guess at about $3.50 or $4.00.

Don't forget to have a Mickey Bar

You have to get the Dole Whip Float! Its soo good, I think its around $2.75 but its big enough for 2 people to share. A lot of people go there and just get a plain soft serve vanilla ice cream and then say "whats so special about a dole whip?" Don't get that- get the Dole Whip Float!!

For anyone looking to branch out (meaning something after the Dole Whip), try the Frozen OJ over near Aladdin's Carpets. They have one swirled with frozen yogurt that is AWESOME, too. Have a big frozen fruit, vanilla combo lunch thing. Also, frozen pineapple is great.

DH and I get our "trio treats" every MK visit. 1) Dole Whip 2)Sunshine Tree Terrace frozen juice treat Citrus Swirl 3) Strawberry Swirl at Enchanted Grove.

We love all 3 and always get all 3, but our favorite hands down is the Dole Whip.
