I would say he's a "lost" Christian, because of everything he supports that goes against what God teaches us.

ie homosexuality marriage,abortion etc

to me, a christian is someone who tries to be a good person and do the right thing. someone who accepts other people. someone who knows that god does not judge other people bc they are different. someone who knows their sins are forgiven by jesus.

Obama can call himself anything he likes, but there is a clear requirement for one to qualify as a Christian and Obama doesn’t meet that requirement. One cannot deny central tenets of the Christian faith, including the deity and uniqueness of Christ as the sole mediator between God and Man and be a Christian. Such people do have a label applied to them in Scripture. They are called a “false prophet.”

What I was going to put was already said, in all honesty religion should be a personal thing aslong as its right for that person it shouldn't matter (I'm not Christian but I come from a religion that is always shown in the bad light or being "wrong").

I see no problem with Obama's statement, and I bet I could find tons of 'Christians' that would agree with it.

I think that's really rather rude to judge someones faith, and how true of a Christian they are.
There's too many different types of Christianity, and to possibly a JW, you guys are all going to hell for blood transfusions and the like.

I love me some Obama no matter what his religion is.

In all my years at a Christian school, I was never taught that the only way we could be Christians was if we 100% agreed with the Bible. I was taught that to be a Christian you had to be kind, giving, and unjudgemental towards others.

My band's singer is a christian and she has only ever read a few passages in the bible but she is strongly religious.

Alice cooper made the shock of rock, is he a bad christian? no is the answer.

A true christian is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their savior(acknowledging that he died to save them) and follows what he says.

It does not mean we are perfect or have all the answers, we aren't and we don't.

i don't agree with the bible 100% and i'm a christian...
call me hypocritical if you wish, but i don't believe the bible was meant to be taken literally.

Like how some things don't apply anymore, such as woman not cutting their hair because our culture is so different now.
