What is 7/4 Deal?

This may be very basic but what is the 7/4 deal? Is it worth getting the Visa?

Welcome to the DIS boards...trust me, no question is ever "basic"!

The 7 for 4 deal is being offered by Disney for new Disney Visa credit card holders. Most people who have applied for a new card within the February/March time period are eligible for the deal but I do not think that it is guaranteed. What you have to do is apply for the Disney Visa and once you are approved, call CRO at WDW to have them verify that you are eligible for the deal. If you are eligible, the deal is pretty terrific. You are able to book 7 days at a resort (pending room availability) and pay for only 4 days. Included in the package are UPH passes and $100 Disney dollars at check in, as well as some other features (either miniature golf, $25 gift certificate to Planet Hollywood, Legacy tile and something else I can't remember!). If you go on the official WDW website and plug in a 4 day dreammaker package at your desired resort, it will give you a close estimation as to what you will pay for the 7 day package this deal offers. Reservations have to be booked by 4/30 with trips taken 5/1 thru 10/31/04.

I think this is pretty accurate....if not, I am sure someone will correct me!
