Hello I have heard from someone that there were 6 people eating in a Dis resterant and they put 18% on the bill why does anyone know and can you refuse to pay it? thanks to all :surfweb:

It is common for most restaurants even Non Disney to do this for large parties. It is the gratuity. It just saves you the time of adding it up. I suppose if your service was terrible you could refuse to pay this... Not sure:confused3... I have never had service so bad that I didn't tip.

It is the tip - with large parties the gratuity (i.e. tip) is automatically added. I believe it is pretty darn close to mandatory. If you received really poor service you can try to speak to the manager to see if he or she will remove or lower the 18% gratuity but I wouldn't count on it. You can't just randomly decide that you aren't paying it.
