We just got back from a trip to WDW the first week of June. I worked with some people from here to get some customized designs for shirts for our trip - they all turned out great! Unfortunately, the iron-on transfers I used (from the amy mickey site) did not wash well, even washing in cold water and drying on low heat - some of the color from the designs transferred to other areas of the shirt on all ten shirts. I don't know what happened, since I know most people rave about them.

Since this was my son's first trip, I want to recreate the shirts, but now I don't know what transfer to use. Any advice?

I have made 100's of shirts with Amy's iron on's and some of them I still wear and look like new. So, saying that, I am not sure what went wrong. The only thing I can think of is that there was fabric softner in the shirt when you applied the iron on...or there was water and it steamed the iron on..

Amy's are by far the best....but I think you should ask her directly for questions of what might have gone wrong

Thanks for your replies. I've worked with Amy, and she isn't sure what happened either. I followed the directions - no fabric softener, no steam, etc.

Any suggestions on what I should use this time?
