Since this poll is totally anonymous, I felt it was not offensive to ask people to participate. I was just curious as to what kind of demographics make up the DVC buyer profile. I know we are by no means wealthy people, yet we've made vacationing a priority. Would like to know if others feel the same.....

I answered this poll based on what our income was at the time we purchased, which was almost 9 years ago. At first, this seemed like a lot of money to spend, but when we put it in perspective, it was less than a car payment, and I knew we would have to continue to get a lot richer in order to keep vacationing at Disney every year--which of course was what we wanted to do. Of course as we all know, was one of the best decisions we ever made--and oh, how I wish we had bought more points!!! :D

We just bought recently, but I wish we'd bought back in 1993 during our first visit as a couple to WDW. I saw the kiosks everywhere, but just assumed that was for rich people. I now realize we could have afforded it. I also had fairly negative feelings about timeshares. I keep telling myself that DVC isn't a classic "timeshare". Whatever.

Capt. Midnight: I wanted to put that in there as well, but couldn't fit it all. Good idea--want to do it?
