is going on in Anaheim April 24th? Seems that all the hotels that I'd like to stay at are booked for that night only. Anyone know? I hope this isn't a precursor to the whole weekend being extremely crowded.

Where did you want to stay? I'm thinking about canceling my reservation for the large family suite at the Desert Inn. I don't think it's going to work for us after reading some of the reviews here. My reservations are for the 23rd to the 28th of April.

The 24th is the last day for guests to use the 2 days free hoppers. My guess is that many people are fitting in a last minute trip to take advantage of that deal before it ends.

Oh, and the 30 crazy Dis Ladies' Only trippers will be there having a BLAST! Make sure you say hi!

We were looking into some of the boutique hotels near the entrance such as Candy Cane and Tropicana. We were able to find hotels available but they are farther away. I was more just wondering what the heck was going on so special that day, but thanks for the info on Desert Inn. I actually looked at that hotel but we would just need a standard two bed room. We will be there the 24th checking out the 27th. Quick little trip for MIL's 50th bday.

Well I guess it's good to see that the 24th is the LAST day to use them. Two years ago we were there the last weekend they were available and it was a MADHOUSE!

I forgot that was the girls only trip to DL that weekend. I've been reading about all the fun things you plan to do. I'm sure I will cross paths with some of you. I'll definitely be jealous since I'll be there with my two boys...awww what I wouldn't do for some alone time right now.
