What happens if I have a reservations that is say 135 points booked and have a waitlist for a reservation for 120 points and the waitlist comes through at the last minute and it is well past my banking deadline? If I am unable to use those 15 points before my use year runs out I assume that I can only tranfer them to someone or lose them?

That is correct, of course they must be current UY points to transfer.

That's why we cancelled a wait list that would have used fewer points more than 30 days out.
