What if we had no authority?
No police.
No government.
No nothing.

Do you think we'd be savage beasts, or we would somehow become civilized?
Does there always need to be a higher authority to give us some moral standards?

The world would be chaos.

Nobody would be there to protect us.

This question had me thinking a lot today lol.
I mean, I think there always has to be some sort of order in the world.
Back in the day, whites called Indians savages, just because their way of life was so called "wasteful". But they always had a leader, their chief. They lived under rules and restrictions.

Lots of crime.
No president to take care of our country.
NO LAWS.
More crime.
People could kill somebod if they dropped a book on their foot.
More and more crime.
The world would suck.
If theres no government or anything, whats the point of living?

Yes, but we would still have something telling us what to do. No, we don't have to listen to them. But it could be a cult, or something.

We studied different forms of government a couple months ago. This would be called an anarchy.

I don't think society can function without higher authority of some sort.

Of course, if people could co-exist peacefully, it would be wonderful. But they can't. They would probably start forming different groups and then the different groups would constantly be at war with each other. People would refuse to do any work because they'd figure that there's nobody to make them. And with no government, there'd be no one to pay them. There would be no laws. Plus, if there was no government, someone would probably seize the opportunity and declare themself the leader. They would probably become a cruel dictator and the world would spiral downwards toward a totalitarian society.

Just look at us now. Look at us now, WITH a leader and police and military defense.

Now can you imagine how much worse it'd be without those things.

YES, the world could be civilized without those things, but that would require everyone to like each other. Be willing to be friends. People would have to be willing to just accept their life and not try to steal. I mean honestly, can you imagine how better this world would be if just the countries didn't fight with eachother.

Sometimes humans are just dumb. Dumb dumb dumb.
