What if you own points at 2 resorts , lets say 120 pts at BCV and 120 pts at VWL which is your home resort???

Both. To book a trip at 11 months you would need to bank/borrow or use the 7 month window.

That's us - 215 BCV and 300 OKW. They are both our home resorts. But we feel at home at any DVC location.

at 11 months you caould use 120 points at BCV and 120 points at VWL.

At seven months you could use all the points at either resort.

Just remember that DVC will not sell less than 150 points as your initial purchase from them. You could always buy less resale if it passes the ROFR. Also remember that you can only use points from X resort for 11 months reservations at that resort. Other points you own do not come into play until 7 months out for non home resort reservations.

Thanks so much for clearing that up. Its all so confusing and I feel like its monopoly money and I don't have all the rules for the game.

I'm not quite sure if this is contradictory to what Dean said, but we initially bought 175 VWL points through Disney, then a year later bought 100 BCV points, also through Disney. I consider the BCV points "my" points because they're for my solo trip. Once a year DH and I go on the VWL points (although we stay at OKW), the other time BCV for me.

Not at all, fits perfectly with what I wanted to convey.
