Yeah, I know I am probably crazy BUT I like where my room is mid ship and inside room.

What if they try to upgrade me w/o my knowledge, what if I want to stay in my current room.

What do I do? :confused3

We've had the TA put a note in the ressies requesting No Upgrades. It's worked fine so far :)

Since you don't want an upgrade, you'll probably be the only one on the ship upgraded:) I really wouldn't worry about getting upgraded because they happen pretty infrequently. It looks like you're going in the beginning of June, maybe the end of May. Probably not a good chance of being upgraded - I bet that you are safe.

Nobody on these boards seems to have discovered what the system is for upgrades. We were upgraded on the sold out New Year's Eve cruise, category 10 to category 6 with a verandah. Disney called or travel agent 8 days before the cruise, after we received our documents with our originial cabin number on them.
So even on a sold out cruise, there are upgrades.

When we booked with a set room and got an upgrade, they called our TA...who called us and said that we had been offered an upgrade. We had 48 hours to accept or turn it down.

When we had a GTY and were upgraded, we found out when we got our docs.

If you really do not want an upgrade, just have that notation added to your ressie.

We are on your cruise and would be more than willing to sacrafice ourselves and take your upgrade if need be. :rotfl2: Only 2 months .

Sometimes you don't have a choice to refuse an upgrade. I had two rooms booked on the same deck and found out at the Port one had been "taken out of service"?. I had no chioce but to take the supposed "upgrade" (cat. stayed the same) two decks up from 5 to 7 in cat. 8. Wasn't happy initially, but it all worked out. :cool1:
