if we don't do the rides like manta, kraken, atlantis, artic, and antartica can we still see the animals involved in them?

Kraken, Manta, and Atlantis are only rides no animals. Artic yes there is a side they call the walking side. The seats wont move and you just watch a quick video and then go to where the animals are. Now Antartica I have heard no you have to do the ride in order to see the penguins. I havent been yet so I am sure if that part is wrong someone will correct me.

Actually, Manta, Journey To Atlantis and Kraken do have animal viewing opportunities that your don't have to ride the rides for. Journey To Atlantis has a small aquarium with fish and jellyfish. The aquarium is located next to the gift shop. Kraken has a few eels in a small area outside the queue line. And Manta has a large aquarium full of manta rays, fish and other sea creatures. The aquarium is located near the queue line as well.

At Antarctica, you don't necessarily have to ride the ride to see the Penguins, but you do have to wait in the ride queue line. When you get to the ride entrance, let them know you don't want to ride the ride just see the penguins and they should lead you to the non rider area.

The kids love the aquarium at manta. I was mostly just saying that the rides aren't connected to seeing the animals like artic or antartica.

I was at sea world and they have some outstanding shows. Alure of the seas was a cirque de soleiel type show. It was one of the best shows Ive seen @ a theme park. With all the emphasisnon thrill in the amusement park industry its nice to see some commitment to something besides rides.

Totally agree :thumbsup2 .

One of the (many) things I love about SeaWorld is that it appeals to EVERYONE in some way. Great rides, great shows, great exhibits, unique animal experiences.....its offers something for every age and every stage.

My kids [say they] won't ride the bigger coasters at SW...we've not been there yet, but when we watch the YouTube videos, there are mostly "no way!" statements coming from them.

Because of the posts here, we are going to give SW a try anyway this coming Christmas. I'm looking forward to the shows and just a new experience!

I will also be there at this Christmas. Hoping to see some nice decorations. SW does a great job at decorating.

I am also a ride weenie, so I still find lots to do in SW. The shows, looking at animals/fish, watching my kids who are ride junkies, paddling the boats around the water with my DD, going up in the tower to get a great view of the park and area. I didn't mind the Artic ride, and now there's the new penguin ride, so I will try that.

It's funny my kids love coasters. But when come to Sea World it is all about the animals. Be sure bring plenty of money for the animal feedings. Also my kids love all eat dining too. That was there favorite part sighs and shakes head.
