Is it possible to book a ressie for just having dessert and drinks, later at night, at any of the Disney restaurants? Do they let you do this, and should I tell them when booking that we won't be having a full meal? Some of the desserts sound so yummy- I think this'd be great fun!

I have considered doing this many times : )

The one thing I think you should remember is that ADRs aren't actually reservations. They merely put you in front of others on the list once you arrive. Disney restaurants tend to get more and more crowded from 6 to 9. So, assuming you're talking about 8-10 pm, you may have to wait awhile for a table. Call the restaurants and see if you could get a drink and dessert at the bar. That might save you some time waiting for your table.

Many people have done this with no problem at all.

There is no need to note that it's just for desserts on your ADR. Go and enjoy!

Who knows, you could get there and decide you need a delicious appetizer and tasty adult drink with your dessert. :goodvibes

Some places have a bar area where you could have drinks/dessert without even making a reservation. Narcoossee's, Sanaa and California Grille are that way, so keep those in mind. We had a ressie for Narcoossee's and had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table, but we could have easily ordered from the menu at hte bar and in fact other diners did just that.

We went just for dessert and were able to get walk-in. We even were treated with a surprise at the end when we were told that there was no bill.:cool1:
