What if the Ignore function worked like this ?

first, truth has no one on " Ignore "

second, let's assume that the user name being talked about being ignored is "Truth"

It seems the " DIS " ignore function only hides posts made by a user but not a thread started by that user.

Would you be more likely to use the " DIS " Ignore function if it meant you would never see Threads started by " Truth " as well as eliminate reply posts by " Truth " ?

I disagree with all the poll options, so I didn't vote.

In answer to the question: No.

I've had no need or desire to utilize the ignore feature to bypass any poster's posts per se.

If I had a personal problem with any poster(s), I don't think the ignore feature in any form would be much - if any- help to me. Perhaps using it might even aggravate any issue I might have. But that's just me.

I don't have anyone on ignore, so I really don't know how it works. If it hides the posts of a person I'd have on ignore, then I'd be okay with that. I don't need it to hide any thread started by that user because you can see this before deciding to click onto it.

I truthfully belive that uncovering the "truths" in Truths posts would truthfully be easier if Truth did not use the word truth quite so often.

For ages I've wanted to hide any thread started by my "ignore" people. No such luck.

I've played with the Ignore function...just for fun, mind you ...just to see what it was like. LOL...IGNORE is a misnomer! Something to the effect of "This poster is on your Ignore list...click here to reveal this post" ...I can't imagine what would draw *more* attention to a post than a sign like that! How could you HELP but click that button?

In my mind, the Ignore function is kind of a nuisance...what were the choices again?

Edited: Ok...I've read the choices...I just don't like the IDEA of the Ignore function, I guess. I think I can rely on my own mental ignore filter....on some days, it's working overtime.
