What if....long line between FP+ checkpoints

Sorry if this has been asked and/or answered before, but the search function is down temporarily.

Let's say your FP+ time for Soarin' is 3:30 to 4:30 and you scan your ticket/magicband at the first checkpoint at the entrance of the ride at 4:18. For whatever reason, the FP+ line is long at it is after 4:30 before you scan at the second checkpoint---does anyone know if the system recognizes that you indeed entered the line during the scheduled timeframe?
